On 11-19 I travelled into Kerrville to do some shopping at Wal-Mart.  As I approached the checker I had in my hand 17 coupons.  Wahooo prepared to save a bunch of money, well $15.00 anyway.  The checker began to leave his post when I asked him if his relief knew how to price match.  He turned and looked at the little girl ready to relieve him and she said "no".  At this point the original checker went to someone else and had them teach her how while I patiently waited.  Success!  She did it, unfortunately my happiness was dashed when she scanned the coupons so quickly that she did not realize that three of them were not accepted for a total of $3.50.  I tried to stop her so she could correct the mistake but was unsuccessful.  As I prepared to leave I realized that she was given three separate error messages at which point it was printed "return the coupon to customer".  Guess what?  She didn't and now they are in a locked drawer which she has no access to.  Off to customer service I go.  I was greeted by a woman who must have seen the disgust on my face.  She was able to flag a CSM down at which point we returned to the register where my coupons are locked up and stopped the entire line of customers waiting to check out to go through each coupon individually.  I am ducking for cover because now the customers are mad at me for what the CSM is doing.  Holding up the entire line to find where the checker went wrong.  When the CSM figured out a riot was about to begin she had me follow her to a different register where she refunded my money.  Unfortunately she didn't pay attention and refunded me only $2.50.  Back to the register where the CSM is still standing where she argued with me about how much she refunded me.  After she reviewed what she did she went back to the register and gave me the final dollar.  I was finally outa there.
On 11-17 I travelled into the Kerrville Wal-Mart to do my shopping. Much to my surprise they would not price match a Walgreens ad because it said "with card" and the checker said they do not price match this. (funny that's not what their price match guarantee states) I politely told her this was incorrect at which point she left her post and asked another employee.  I was told "no" gave her back the items I wanted her to price match and left the store.  I called both Kerrville Wal-Mart and Fredericksburg Wal-Mart and was given the same answers by a total of 4 different people.  To test this information I waited until the next day and talked to 4 different people, 2 from each store, and was given the same "no".  I proceeded to call the Kerrville Wal-Mart and spoke with the Manager Bobby.  Bobby gave me the same answer and I persisted.  About an hour later Bobby called me back and said that any price printed with a local competitor would be honored.  I called corporate and complained at which point they said they would look into it. Ugh!
